Melbourne Intern'l Jazz Festival - Bob Sedergreen's Soul Searchers at Ormond Hall
Ormond Hall in Melbourne provided a great venue for a feast of Jazz, Blues and Soul Thursday 6th May, 2004.
Bob Sedergreen and his Soul Searchers with guests Nilusha Baeder (vocal) and Dene Ford (vocal, guitar). Soul Searchers - Bob Sedergreen (piano), Mal Sedergreen (alto saxophone), Davod Gardner (clarinet, tenor sax), Adrian Sherriff (trombone), Jon Chidgey (bass), MArshall Clarke (drums).
These musicians play like a well-oiled machine and are deeply respectful of each others talents. There were many highlights during the concert, but the audience walk-through by Mal Sedergreen playing sax highlighted the wonderful acoustics of the venue - every note could be heard.
